Privacy policy, in plain language

We collect very little, we keep it only as long as needed, and we never sell it. Here's exactly what happens to your data when you use OnlineCricketID.

Last updated: 1 August 2026

Most privacy policies are written by lawyers, for lawyers. This one is written for you, in the same plain language we use on chat. If anything below is unclear, ask us on WhatsApp and a real person will explain it in a minute or two.

What we collect

Our whole service runs on WhatsApp, so the list is short:

  • Your WhatsApp number and display name — because that's how you reach us and how we send your login credentials.
  • Chat history — the messages between you and our support team. This is our only record of what you asked for and what we promised, so we keep it.
  • Transaction records — deposits and withdrawals: amount, time, the UPI account used, and which exchange balance it went to or came from.
  • The exchange username we create for you — so we can help when you forget a password or need a balance moved.

That's it. We don't ask for Aadhaar, PAN, selfies, address, or documents of any kind. If someone claiming to be us asks for those, they're an impersonator — stop and report it.

Why we collect it

  • Account creation: we need a working WhatsApp number to deliver an ID and to attach it to your record.
  • Payments: transaction records let us match your deposit to your balance and — crucially — enforce our rule that withdrawals go only to the account that deposited. That rule stops fraud, and it doesn't work without records.
  • Support: chat history means you don't have to re-explain your situation every time. Whoever's on shift can read back and help.

What we never do

We never sell your data. We never share it with third parties beyond what's needed to set up your exchange account. We never send marketing broadcasts, promotional blasts or "special offer" spam — if you don't message us, you don't hear from us. And we never contact you first: an unsolicited message claiming to be OnlineCricketID is fake by definition.

The one necessary share: when we create your ID on an exchange, a username exists on that platform's panel. The exchange sees that account's activity on their own system — that's inherent to how exchanges work and is covered by their terms, not ours. We don't hand them your number, your chats or your payment history.

How long we keep things

Transaction records are kept for as long as your ID is active, plus a reasonable period afterwards, because payment disputes sometimes surface months later and records protect both sides. Chat history is kept on the same basis. If you close your ID and ask us to delete your data, we delete what we're able to — see below.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

  • Ask what we hold on you. Message the same WhatsApp chat or email [email protected] and we'll tell you.
  • Ask for deletion. Same channels. We'll remove your chat history and personal details once any open transactions are settled. We may retain minimal transaction records where needed to resolve a dispute or prevent fraud, and we'll tell you if that applies.
  • Just stop. Withdraw your balance, stop messaging, and nothing further happens. No retention of anything you didn't already give us, no re-engagement campaigns.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies of its own on arrival. Basic analytics load only after you interact with the page, and they tell us aggregate things like page views — not who you are. There are no ad trackers, no retargeting pixels, no Facebook anything.

Age limit

Our service is for adults aged 18 and over, and this policy assumes every user is one. We don't knowingly collect data from minors; if we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it and delete the associated data.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything meaningful here, we'll update the date at the top. We won't quietly slip in data-selling clauses — the promises in the "what we never do" section are permanent.
